Hello everyone,

I just joined this forum a few minutes ago as it was recommended by someone on a Canadian forum very similar to this.
I have been searching on it for about an hour now and there is some excellent information and l hope continue using the search function (and posting) for a long time.

Im a new, want to be investor. Looking mainly at a buy and hold, away from where I live, and hire a property management company.

I have been doing online research for a about a year now, and have read some books as well. I feel like I have a lot of information, but none of it is very linear. I feel I know bits and pieces of everything, but dont have much confidence in one area.

I was just curious to know if anyone can suggest any online courses, or home study courses that someone like myself, who is just starting out, might find useful?

Im mostly looking for info like:
How to pick the right city, town etc?
How to crunch numbers of a specific building to see if it will be profitable?
How to hire the right property manager?
How to build an REI team?
How to screen tenants etc?

I know of one in Canada, but a lot of the info (financing, insurances, etc) are very different than in the US.
Seems like there are hundreds of them out there, but how do I pick a 'good' one?

thanks
