Should anonymity be a concern as we form our first LLC? Or should my husband list himself as the registered agent with myself being the authorized manager or is there a better/safer way around that?

It's a personal choice. You can find countless threads about LLCs on here and everyone has an opinion.

You can get a registered agent for $49/year. It's not much. Just Google it (we can not recommend services on the forums unless in the Marketplace).

If you are worried about privacy, I suggest you open a mailbox somewhere or you will only have your personal home address to put down on the formation paperwork. It can't be a PO Box. So you'll need either a UPS box or a USPS *Street Addressing* box. It's all about the *format* of your address. It might physically still be a box, but as long as the address doesn't say "PO Box", you should be fine. Otherwise, there are services too I think that can be your business main address. Or if you're comfortable, just use your home address.

If you both are members of the LLC, you should both have titles of Managing Member or something similar. A registered agent isn't typically a LLC member/owner.
