City of Chicago : gas bill
Just received a 4 flat from a deceased family member. No leins on the property but I just found a gas bill lying on the ground. A pretty pink slip showing that 7k is owed. Not to mention a 3k water bill. I put the building in my LLC a month ago and heard nothing about this. Will I have to pay it or will this be sent to collections under the name of deceased?
