My first duplex .. how do I figure my numbers?

I’m trying to figure out how to work my numbers. I found a duplex on the market for 225k Both sides are renting for $975 a month Taxes $2951.00 SqFt 3,662 Year Built 1980 Acres 0.288

Hey Wade, you'll need to get a lot more information to properly analyze this deal.  

Estimated repair costs?

Interest rate on loan?

Do tenants pay all utilities?

Then you'll need to factor in capital ex., repairs/maintenance, management fees, and vacany %.  

Once you have this information, you should be able to form a better idea of if this is a good purchase.
