Currently in the process of my first flip on a 2500sf 3bed 2bath detached home, and am contemplating the importance of hiring a staging company to come in and fix the "vacancy'ness" of the property. Will I see a ROI worth while of this service, thoughts?

I always stage, stats back it up. 1. you should get your money back plus a quicker sale. 2. It avoids people looking at walls and finding little imperfections as when its staged your view isn't just up and down walls on the floor. 3. People have a hard time visualizing what it would look like with furniture, staging solves that for them as they can better see themselves living in the space. 4. It makes listing photos much better which should drive more traffic in the door.

You will definitely get your money back and possibly get more people like the setting to make an offer. In our area it is rarely not the case. Studies show +14% increase in avg offer vs those w/o staging.

It’s definitely worth it in higher end homes. I’d give a price point but it varies by market. In our area anything above 300k or so it’s time to start thinking about staging.
