Mastermind Group For Young Investors

Hello, friends of BP, my name is Rowen and I am a 17-year-old from Greenville SC. I have noticed that there is not currently a specific place on BP for extra young investors (20 and below) to chat and network with other young investors. Because of this, I am creating a mastermind group for ambitious young investors to meet up and work together to make each other more knowledgeable and well-equipped investors. I and @Cameron Dye, another very determined 17-year-old on BP, will be organizing this group. If there is anyone reading this that would like to join the group, please don't hesitate to message me or @Cameron Dye. We want as many like-minded young investors in our group as we can get:) If you're older than 20 and still want to be a part of the group still reach out to us we'd love to have you. Thank you.

@Ethan Dykstra I am 21 and still in college but I was able to start when I was 19. I transferred to a local college so that I would be able to get involved with real estate investing. For me, it was extremely helpful to find a local investor that was willing to let me tag along to the houses he was flipping. This gave me some firsthand experience on what it's like on a daily basis. Eventually when I had enough saved, he allowed me to invest into a property with him. It worked out really well because with me investing some of my own money, it put pressure on me to work hard and gave me motivation each day, but by investing with a seasoned investor, I had a safety net and someone to go to with questions.

I think it's a great way for someone with little money and experience to get involved and learn the process.

Hope this helps!
