VA loan for 2nd house

Hi all, I have a question regarding to VA loan to buy 2nd property.

We own a single family house with VA loan in Virginia beach and thinking to purchase 2nd home in a same area using VA loan. Is it possible or we can only get qualified for it when we get transferred? My idea is to find a cheaper house in a same area with great potentials, sell the first house, move to the new one and flip while we live.
I've already done major renovations for the first home and hoping to find another project before we get transferred which is probably in 1 1/2 year.

I hope you can give me points I'm missing or any advices will be appreciated!

@Fred Shatzoff

This is not true, I have a VA loan on 2 properties. One is a rental, while the other is my primary. Also in different counties, about 40 miles away from each other. I had to stay in my first home a year before I could rent it out. They used the supposed rental income of the first home before I even had a tenant in it to add to my income on the 2nd property as well, winning!
