Search Fatigue with Fiancee

Hello BP members,

My fiancee and I are noticing a sense of frustration settling in searching for a multi families on and off market in the RI area. Its been a few months and nothing has stuck. I keep the consistency alive calling and mailing properties but nothing has been decent good enough to purchase. We are thinking of looking in another city such as Springfield, MA we are not sure of the market over there and wanted to know what other investors in the area think and feel about the current market. I notice the prices being substantially lower than I expected. However, price alone is not the best way to dictate where your are going to invest.

Any advice?

Ray

Take a month off and then start again.  If you're getting frustrated, you might buy a house that doesn't make sense just because you feel like you have to get SOMETHING.

As Warren Buffett said, it takes discipline to only swing at balls in your strike zone when people are yelling "swing, ya bum!".  Wait for one where the numbers make sense, no one gets rich on mediocre deals.
