First House Question

Rachel Todd
Posted

There is a house right behind mine that has been empty for almost a year. It was for sale and then the sign disappeared and it has remained empty. I had a real estate agent see what she could find out on the property.

Apparently, the owner just quit paying the mortgage. There are several liens on it and the agent that has it listed said the mortgage company refuses to work with them. The owner doesn’t care about the property or the situation. The agent said the mortgage company is determined to get their money from the owner.

My question: is there anything I can do to get this house?

Should I just let it go and look for something else?

Thanks!

Rachel
