Surprise Flood insurance

Hello everyone!

I just started my real estate investing two years ago and I'm now on my third property. On my third property they just deemed it in a flood zone. Is there anyway I can contest this or do I have to bite the bullet and pay for flood insurance. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The only way to avoid is if you get a surveyor to survey an Do an elevation certificate And if that elevation is above the fema elevation that makes it a flood zone......unlikely, but the only way.
