What is your definition of a "REAL ESTATE INVESTOR"? I'd like to see how youBP members define yourselves. Who do you think you are? It may sound profound or egotistical it will make a differnce in your outlook as to who you think you are.
I promsie to post my idea of what a RE Investor is later. You may be surprised to learn the non-guru definitions are of who you are and what you do! Post what you think, that really goes for the old timer's too...

A real estate investor is simply someone investing in real estate expecting a return. Investors are not created equal. Investors may have a wide range of goals, methods for reaching these goals, and have varied levels of experience and skills.
