So I'm working to close my first deal. I have a property under contract. I have an interested buyer. I also have a JV partner that I will split the assignment fee 50/50. My partner brought the buyer to the deal. Who will furnish the assignment of contract agreement? Me or the new buyer? Will the assignment of contract amount be for the full purchase prices of the home or simply for my fee? Does my fee go in the attorneys escrow account?
