Acting and Real-estate investing?

Question

I'm an actor fresh out of college and want to get involved in real estate investing as a side career so I can focus %100 on my career. Are there any actors out there in this business who can offer some advice to a newbie or anybody involved in a traveling lifestyle and also a real estate investor?

I am an active actor and investor. Everyone tells me I act like an idiot. I act like I know everything.

If you are a worldly traveler you probably have great advantages since you have the opportunity to see and evaluate different markets whereas we people who don't travel are limited to evaluating, firsthand, only the areas where we live. I know there are many betters areas to invest my money, but I don't want to travel thousands of miles to evaluate the areas, firsthand. I would never trust a real estate broker to make my decisions without seeing the property and neighborhood, myself.
