Looking for a change in life

Hello

I want to get out of my retail career and move into RE investing. As a Game Stop store manager there is not much more room for saving for a down payment and I have to repair my credit. However there has to be a way for me to get started, any ideas?

Welcome Wayne.

The first thing I would suggest is that you work on the quality of your questions that way you will get better answers. Just saying you want to go into real estate is not much help as there are so many strategies and so many ways to make a living in real estate.

My second suggestions would be for you to spend the next 10 hours reading as much as you can in this website, both the forums and all the articles. That might help to give you more perspective and get ideas of what you would be interested on and what you need to lear more of.

Finally I would suggest a trip to your local library. There are tons of free resources on real estate there that will get you started.

In real estate the first step is always education, you got to learn how things get done, what are the rules, and how to protect yourself. You can learn all this from sites like this and mine (see link in signature). However, once you have invested some time in education it is VERY important to take action. A lot of people get stuck in education and don't move from there but the real education takes place when you take action.
