Anyone investing in Toledo? How has your experience been?

I work with a guy in Toledo who jumps around the street in his underwear. So far the investing went well.

Hi Frank, You will be hard pressed to get a better "bang for your buck" in any other market. Low entry price, great cashflow and solid areas with decent infrastructure. The con's: 1) Shady contractors 2) Poor property managers 3) Too many lazy and unresponsive agents Stay patient and do the work. I wish you much success

@Cheryl Mack Thanks, Cheryl. I agree with your zip code assessment. It appears the further NW of downtown Toledo the better investments. By chance, do you happen to know the specific zip codes that fall into Opportunity Zones?

Better zip codes with reasonable prices in Toledo include 43612, and 43613 which is where I hold properties. That said, I invest also in 43608 and have done well there with Section 8 tenants. You will need a realtor who knows these areas well and has handled investment property, preferably one who is also an investor in the areas. Cheryl Mack
