Starting Out Marketing Campaign(s)

I am starting to prospect in the San Diego market to be able to wholesale or rehab deals. I am lining up multiple marketing campaigns (direct mail, driving for dollars, bandit signs, FB ads, and scanning sites for for sale by owner leads) and have narrowed my target area to 6-7 zip codes spread throughout the county. My question is, is it advisable to focus ALL marketing efforts on say 1-2 zip codes OR have 1-2 campaigns for lets say 5-6 zip codes?
