Insurance for my first SFH

Hello BP,

I am looking for advice on insuring my first SFH. Specifically how much coverage I should have for liability. I received one quote so far and was told by that company that the most I could get is 500,000 dollars. Does that should like enough? Any other newbie advice concerning insurance would be helpful.
