My first house: question.
Good morning.
My names mouna. I’m 25.
I’m currently u under contract for a one family home I plan to house hack. This is my first time.
We were supposed to close on the 15th. But the seller sneezed in a required code compliance inspection from the city. And they had to fix somethings and (paint) and they reinspected and is waiting for the c of o due on Tuesday. We will be supposedly closing a few days later.
But as of right now we don’t have a closing date. And it’s really bothering me. On the contract we decided to set the closing date on “around the chosen date” instead of the exact date. So I’m afraid the seller can drag this on forever.
I’m kinda anxious to move because, well I live in a crappy room in a basement right now for 8 months now, I lived here to save money for the down payment. Now that I will potentially have a house I just want to move.
What should I do?
