Hello BP! I purchased a duplex a few month ago and followed the house hacking strategy. I know that I have to live at the property for at least a year, so this post is just to try to plan for the near future.
If I wanted to house hack another property after I move out of the place I'm currently in, do lenders (mainly banks) help out with the financing at all? Is there less of a down payment if you are going to be using one of the units as your primary residence?
