Did you have similar blockers before you started?

Question

Below is my list of mental roadblocks. Did you have any similar concerns? Can you prove me wrong?

• 1) I need a system like Homevestors and $100k plus in cash to be successful
• 2) I cannot make money flipping without being handy
• 3) I cannot wholesale without a real estate license
• 4) I cannot wholesale or flip and keep my day job
• 5) I need to net over $300k per year in order for me to quit my day job
• 6 Playing the stock market is a safer long term bet
• 7) Jumping in now when a recession is imminent would wipe me out
•

@Jack Ha - I’m a HomeVestors franchisee in VA.  Have you connected to Sheila Konecke who is the HomeVestors Development Agent in the NVA area?  I’m sure she would be willing to meet with you to explore if - based on your goals - it would be better to go in big and buy a franchise or just take some wholesale deals from the HVA Z’ees.  It really depends on how many deals you want to do a year. If you are only looking to do a few a year, it makes the most sense to just pay the wholesale fees. If, however, you want to build a sizable business, investing the time and money into building a business with the support and resources of a franchise probably makes sense and she can help you with that. @Mike McCarthy great point! I think I will be good at the analysis piece and finding ways to create values. I  have some good connections with contractors that will help me

if I go the rehab route. I also know people who would want to invest with me if I decide to wholesale or go the syndicate route. Thank you for helping me think of the other, more optimistic angle!
