How does earnest money work?
Why is it that the wholesaler only pays $10~$100 earnest and the rehabber pays an earnest of $1,000~$10,000? Are you supposed to pay on the spot? And is the rehabber supposed to write a check to my name and drive to my title company's office to drop it off, or give it to me? Or does he write it to my title company's name and give it to me so that I can drop it off for them? I'm confused!
