Moving before 1st home lease contract

So about 4 months ago I purchased a my first home with the intention of fixing it up over and living there for 2 years then either selling or refinancing in order to rent it depending on the market. 4 months later due to a change with my primary job i had to move to another state. I found someone that would be able to rent it to cover monthly of the mortgage but I had to leave before the year that was stipulated that I live in the home on the lease. The renters were good to move in immediately but I know I need to convert this to a rental property or the house might get forclosed!! How would I go about doing this?

Thanks!
