Fair price to pay for MLS access?

Hi;

I'm going to start calling around to see about becoming an "assistant" for a realtor, as I hear realtors can grant access to the MLS to their assistants. What's a fair price per month to pay to a realtor for MLS access from my home computer?

Why not find an agent who is either an investor or specializes with investors, they can then setup automatic searches to your criteria and the system emails them to you.  I have many in my area that I have done this for.

Access at thier terminal I would imagine, at the office. Everytime the MLS is accessed by a Realtor code there is a record, if high counts hit from different servers (whatever) they may look at that Realtor. Past hits/searches and agent production show a trend, 2000 more searches and no production for them might look fishy, like they are selling access....they could end up losing access.

I suggest you use the public side and pay per page for more data, but they still can't give the agent's side.

I might suggest you consider a desk job for an appraiser, thier activity has little to do with production as they research the market!
