How to put a lockbox on the door?

Im in Arizona, I just got a house in Utah, The house is vacant and now I will put a lockbox on the door, I will send someone to do that for me. So, how should I do this? Will they have to buy a lockbox and then I pay them or I give them money so they buy it?

This does not sound like a good situation. Having a property in an area were you don't already have a system in place is risky. If you're having issues with placing a lockbox on a door now, what's going to happen when you have a real problem?  Just my 2 cents, but I would be spending a lot of time trying to find people I trust in the area who can help with that particular property. Best of luck.

My advice is to research reliable and well rated real estate firms within the homes City/County.  Choose multiple companies you feel you would do business with and then vet each one individually.  Address any questions you may have with each one of them and then select the professional you feel most comfortable with.  Best of luck.

What are your intentions with this lockbox?  Are you selling the house remotely from AZ?  Is the lockbox meant to be there so prospective tenants can view the house?

I would just find a good local handyman to put it on there. He should be able to buy it and then invoice you for the lockbox and his labor.
