How do I get started in wholesaling realestate?

Hello everyone, I just started wholesaling real estate. I just signed up on Jerry Norton’s website “fliostersystem.com” (getflipster.com) I’m very excited but I don’t know where to start and don’t know how to start. I’ve looked at the training videos and YouTube videos but still having a hard time of where and how to start and get deals.

Hi @Amber Watson I would focus on your market as well. Understanding and mastering it will help when analyzing a deal so you can determine if it is a good/bad deal. Congratulations on getting started and taking some action. I would regroup and have a system worked out prior to spending $100/month on a website. There is no easy path to starting REI and difficult paths will lead to the biggest opportunity.

If you are using wholesaling to get into buy and hold real estate investing; I would start with a narrow focus on low down opportunities for yourself and let the wholesaling be a by product of your own acquisition process.

Do some research into the subject to process and reach out to other local investors here and by attending networking events.

The first thing you need to do is understand every aspect of your market. That way you know exactly what a good deal is when it comes along.

This will help you filter out all of the noise and let you focus on what investors are actually looking for.
