First off thank you for taking the time to read this and respond. I'm very interested in beginning to invest. My end goal is small apartment buildings built to be handicap accessible. I'm trying to find houses in my area to "house hack" and I plan to turn this house into a du/triplex. I've been reading and listening to numerous podcasts, I just don't know how to start I don't have a support system nor do I have anyone who can help me start. So what can I do?

Where are you located? First step should be networking with investors/agents/lenders in your market, BP is a great place for that. Start the pre approval process ASAP, make sure your lender is familiar with REI and understands your long-term plan.
