RE Beginner Programs

Is investing in expensive beginner programs beneficial in the long run for RE? The one I am interested in cost $1000 and it honestly does not seem legit or profitable. I am willing to invest in courses, however I would like for them to be worth while and full of useful content. Any recommendations to programs are welcome!
