I am currently trying to narrow down my search for properties in the Charleston (SC) country area. What are some ways to locate the best market for properties in a town/neighborhood/street in a certain county to invest in?

Potential profit and cash flow. Keep in mind, just because an area has high property values, doesn't make it a good area to invest in. You don't make your money based on the property values. You make your money on the spread between what it costs to get into and out of the market.
