Tip: Easy way to find contractors

Super short post here, but just wanted to share:

Finding the right contractor or handyman is an ongoing battle.

Recently, after trolling the Home Depot and Lowes parking lot and snapping photos of all the vans with their company logos and phone numbers, I noticed ALL THE WHITE VANS with no advertising on the exterior.  I realized that these are the people I wanted to be talking to...small businesses with little overhead.  I left one business card with my contact info and the questions "Are you a handyman?" written on it, and 15 minutes later I got a phone call!  It was a great conversation and I met a licensed electrician that partners with a handyman.

Just wanted to share!  Have a great day BP!
