Welcome me to Bigger Pockets!

Good morning! Super excited to be a part of this great community. I’ve been listening to the BP podcast for about 2 months now, per recommendation, and read a few books...starting to feel dangerous! After renting out and ultimately selling my personal residence following a move, I know there is so much more to learn.

I live in the mountains of North Carolina, originally from the Winston-Salem area, and have a thirst for the hustle and bustle that comes with real estate investing. I have interests in buy and hold rentals, as well as flipping. I’m pretty handy, my job as a facilities manager has taught me quite a bit, and love to stay busy.

I hope I can get to a point where I can help others on this platform the way that I know y’all will help me.

Talk soon...Michael.

Welcome! North Carolina is a great place for real estate! Not sure how the meetup or investor groups are in that area but where I am in Charlotte NC there is a ton of individuals that are looking to work together and starting out.

What books have you read?

BP is the place to go to start being educated, but do you have a property manager for your rental?

If you do they are a good source to find out costs and what your local market supports rental-wise and the challenges you will face.
