Hello all,

My wife has some health issues so we spent Christmas breathing in the salt air of Panama City Beach over Christmas this year.  This gave us Airbnb fever. We're currently looking for rentals in our area (Minnesota) but also really want a place in Florida on or near the beach.

I'm digging through all of the posts in here related but wanted to ask.

If you were to buy an Airbnb in Florida. Want to spend 1-2 months living there per year and have the airbnb cover other expenses.  What area would be the best to look for?

@Daniel Murphy My husband and I really like the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area. We've spent the last few winters down there (1-2 months). Warmer than the Panhandle during the months we want to be down here. Not an expert on FL vacation rentals though, just personal experience!
