New to wholesaling. Looking for a little help getting started

Do you guys recommend getting a realtor license before wholesaling? I live in Cleveland, Ohio and I've been seeing a lot of discussion boards about how Ohio takes legal action against wholesalers without license. This has been my main concern before really diving into this career. Also, if there are any wholesalers in the area looking to teach someone, I'm really eager to learn and get into this career.
