Student Loans and REI

Hello everyone,

My name is Maria. I am 23 years old and recently graduated from college last May. I am VERY new to REI. For now, my goal is to gain as much knowledge as I can so that I can take my first steps in buying a property within a year or two.

My concern is that I have 140k in student loans. My income is 60k+ (could increase if I take overtime), and my credit score is in the 700s. Will my loans hinder my start in REI? My plan is to get a duplex or triplex using FHA and life hack.

Eager to hear any advice!

Thanks,

Maria
