Just Starting as a Pro Member and need Help

Hello, this is Willie, a newbie from Philadelphia, PA need help. I'm 65 and plan to pay off single family home in 3 years, retiring also next year at full retirement but will work part time to generate real estate funds. I Don't want to risk family personal home and like to start out with another rental nearby to produce more income. Starting out with about 10-20k to help increase income but plan to save for one more year. I plan on paying off current mortgage first as not to loose focus on my plan. Any Suggestions?
