Where to find the time?

Question

Anyone have a good tips or strategies for wholesaling with very little free time?  My girlfriend is a rentals real estate agent and is super busy during the summer time, so I watch our kids from when I get home from work to when it is time for bed.  I really want to get started but can't find the time to begin.  Any help?

The others have provided some great information above but sometimes you have to make the time. Get up early, before the rest of the family and take some time to do any online tasks you can do. And sometimes you may even need to take the kids with you, maybe a little bribe of ice-cream will convince them to sit in the car for a while so you can drive for dollars or go check on a property.

Your lunch break is a good time to make or return phone calls. Don't forget about weekends. I just spent the last 5 hours visiting two properties I have under contract to so I could finalize the rehab budget and materials list.

My background as an fyi. I started out as a high level executive assistant to two owners in Virginia before we left due to military orders. I was quickly promoted to the fiance/accounting department assisting with due diligence for sales,commercial loans, budgets, financial forecasting, government contract writing, Quickbooks accounting, etc (small business one does everything). In addition we own four houses, all were bought with mortgages in the last 18 months in three different states. I am very adapt at research and coordination with others.

You can outsource portions. I outsource mailings and even have someone else taking my calls. Yes it costs more, but it buys me back my time and the ROI justifies it.
