Wholesaling in Baltimore, MD Market

Hello all, i'm new to the REI world so i started wholesaling so that i can build up some capital and also learn the ins and outs of the business. I started in January of this year and i feel like i've learned so much, i've done tons of research, read, watched youtube videos, etc. but i still haven't closed any deals yet. I'm currently in the baltimore market but since i've had little success i'm thinking of choosing a new market to venture into. my question is how should i go about choosing another market? do i just pick any city and get started or is there a more intricate process to go through to choose a different market?

Any advice, information, or recommendations are welcome.
