Do I need an attorney?

I am looking into a duplex in Athens, GA, and it already has two month-to-month tenants. The gross rent is 1,800/month and the listing price is $225,000. The numbers work out for me, but I was wondering if I should get an attorney to vet the leases and contracts before purchasing it (this would be the first property I purchase).

@Andy Park given that the tenants are month-to-month I would terminate the existing lease and create a new one. Whether you want the lease to remain month-to-month or fixed is up to you. Your realtor can provide you a lease contract and make necessary adjustments. Hope this helps.
