Brand New, Looking for Guidance

I’m looking to network in my area, Baltimore, MD but am very new and in the beginning stages of learning about real estate investing.

I have done a lot of reading, listening to podcasts and feel I’m ready to finally take action but still don’t know what the first step would be besides getting approved for a loan.

I would love to get some guidance on good resources (ie investors, RE Agents, people familiar with short term and long term rentals) in the community so I can make my first rental experience a positive one!
