Atlanta meetups? Poised investor
Hi fellow Atlantians.... : ) still trying to locate meetups with likeminded folks, investors, etc etc. I just bought my first property and moved in this week. I'm planning to hold this one, hone some skills on it, rent a room, etc. And then invest in a second property within the year to resell or rent.
It would be good to be around others that are doing similar things, not just to learn from them but to just plain get to meet others and be around that REI energy. Noone in my circles does anything with real estate. In fact, most think I'm nuts, or are naysayers. :P I know it's a tough market, but I believe that where there is a will, there is a way. And being with people that are in the same mindset and community is a helpful thing.
Anyways, reach out, say hi, or talk about some meetups you know of. Or let's start one. : )
I'm currently now in Acworth, and I like this side of town (Woodstock, Marietta, Roswell, Acworth, etc.) as a place of focus for investing.
