Bringing something to the partnership

Hey guys!

I just made an account, working through multiple books and am eager to be a part of this community. I'm very new to real estate, but after finishing my law degree last year I'm starting to realize how much this experience can be of use to me in this field. I'm looking to dive into investing, starting with a house hack. I've connected with a friend and old training buddy who's going to be a great partner, but he's already established and from what I can tell I don't see how I can help him much. He wants to work with me and help me get into the real estate game but I'd love ideas for how to boost my value to the partnership besides the research and reading I'm doing. So far, he thinks I can be good for getting investors on board; I'd agree but the idea of talking to people with serious money while I'm brand new is very daunting. Any help would be immensely appreciated!

-Michael
