Real Estate Attorney (LLC)

Hello Everyone, I am a newbie with real estate investing and reaching out to see does anyone know any real estate attorneys in the Atlanta, GA area they can recommend? Or can someone assist with answering some questions I have on where to establish an LLC? I currently live in Virginia (military); however, I am a resident of GA and plan to conduct most of my rental property business in the states of Georgia, Texas, and Arkansas. I do not plan on doing business here in Virginia. After participating in a few investments' classes, the running theme seemed to establish an LLC either in Nevada, Delaware, or Wyoming for their asset protection and tax benefits.

My questions are:

(1) Is it best to establish an LLC in Nevada, giving most of my property investments will be conducted in GA, TX, and AR?

(2) How do business fees/taxes apply in each state if the LLC is established in Nevada?

I really trying to get started but I want to have an LLC establish first set up in the correct structure.

Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Greetings from Cherokee County GA. It’s on the NNW edge of the ATL metro.

You can start an LLC yourself for $150 through the GA Secretary of State website. Your operating agreement is the thing, but that's not a huge problem either. You'll need both to open a bank account. No need to go the NV route IMHO.

What part of GA are you from/moving to?
