Shawn Fletcher
Posted

Hello All,

Anyone familiar with https://www.irafinancialgroup....

I'm looking to transfer existing 401K from previos employer into a solo 401K.  Seems like there are several companies that perform this service, and would be interested in recommendations.  Any inisight on watchouts is appreciated.

Thank you,

Shawn

@Shawn Fletcher

Since your 401k plan is with a previous employer, you will be able to transfer it to a Solo 401k that allows for investment into real estate. There are several Solo 401k providers that regularly post to these forums that could help you. I would recommend reaching out to a few to get an idea of the services offered and the fees charged. You can then compare that to the company you mentioned and pick the best fit for you.

The primary item to watch for would be prohibited transactions. Be sure to choose a company that offers education and support surrounding this topic.
