Insurance Help for AirBnB
I'm looking to use my house solely for AirBnb and currently have a home owner's insurance policy on it. I won't be staying in the house but somewhere else. State Farm says I need to purchase a rental dwelling policy instead of my home owner's. This will raise my premium an extra $1702. Is this right? Is there another option for STR's or will I have to purchase the rental dwelling policy? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
