How Long Did It Take To Start Investing?

I was just curious to hear from others.  It's been over two years now since I first started learning about investing, though to be fair I don't have a lot of time, but have made a commitment to really start focusing and learning more.

So how long after deciding to invest did it take to get started?  Did you deal with analysis-paralysis or some other doubt?  I would love to hear others' experiences!0

Hey Erika,

It has been about 1 year so far since I started learning about real estate investing. Honestly when I first started I got started with the wrong team and lost so much money. I was scared to continue in real estate after getting a deal and losing it because I the team and education I had didn't help me.

I have been grateful to meet someone from an online event who is apart of a whole wide group of investors and they helped me get out of a deal for free. The education he exposed to me was mind blowing and I didn't even realize it was so many strategies in real estate and you don't know what you don't know.

I joined the community back in June and I am ready to get started calling leads. Having access to talk everyday to investors, attend calls where I can talk about my deal and run my numbers makes me so much more comfortable now.

Hi there,

I started looking into investing last Sept.  Started reading, attending webinars, and saving lots.  Finally, my wife and I decided on house hacking as the best opportunity to get started since we decided to move from one state to another.  We just started this Sept, so basically it was about a year.

Now, we're thinking of putting in an offer for a BRRRR.  We'll put in an offer, and find a loan from family or lender.  We'll see what happens.  Once you get started, then the inner drive keeps you going, but you got to pull the trigger and get into the game.
