Vacation Rental in Port Clinton, Ohio

John Nettle
Posted

Hi All,

I am thinking about purchasing a condominium in the Port Clinton area in Ohio.  If you have any experience with this area, would you recommend it as a good location for a short term rental?   I am wondering how much affect the seasonality has on your bottom line?   Should this be something I should be concerned about?  Thanks in advance!

John

Hi John, I recommend the major cities like Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, you'll have much better luck finding tenants (long and short-term). In Columbus we have events like the Arnold and OSU games that bring in hundreds of thousands of people.
