I am about to buy my first property BUT ever time I try to run

I am about to buy my first property BUT ever time I try to run the numbers I do not feel comfortable giving an estimate of repairs but I also do not know who to ask. I feel rude asking a contracter if I don't even know if I am going to buy it.

Hey there,

Offer the contractor to pay a fee for their time going out and giving an estimate. This way they know you are serious. They will know it is only a matter of time before you do buy something and use them. They may even decline needing payment, but it is nice of you to offer!
