Who is better for business eXp or KW???

Question

I've been trying to do my due diligence on choosing a brokerage to hold my real estate license. I want to mainly focus on wholesaling but if I come to love retail listings I'm wondering what would be the better choice in terms of costs and overall resources. Specifically, I have the opportunity to be a part of a well known local investors mastermind/coaching for free if I join eXp. I know KW has great training and I do prefer in person events. I know all the bigger pockets guys are KW but brand names aside I'm just not sure where I can make the most success.

If you're a wholesaler....don't get your license and don't join a brokerage.   You don't need to.

Just be aware that wholesaling is a very very tough business.  For 99% of people it is not a business.   I'll bet there are not more than 10 real wholesalers in your city that make a living wholesaling.   You may be one of those 10 or become one of those 10, but the odds are against you.

Now if you want to be a real estate investor....I think KW is the place to be....afterall we wrote the three books Millionaire Real Estate Investor, FLIP, and HOLD.  Lots and lots of KW agent investors in all types of real estate from single family to land to apartments to commercial buildings.   If you network and in the right place at the right time you can invest in market centers and market center buildings.   That's tough to do with a virtual company.  Even one of the BP founders has a KW team, so you can't probably get a better endorsement than that.

Get busy and sell a bunch of real estate this year and next year and put yourself in a position to start buying your own deals.  Once you do that, keep after it and roll up...and do bigger and bigger deals.
