AI tools used by realtors?

Question

Hey! As part of my research, I want to ask - what are some of the AI tools that real estate agents are using, in 2025? How it sit providing value, and what are some associated costs around it?

Another question, where do you keep yourself updated with news? like do real estate agents read blogs mostly? Any resources leads are helpful. TIA.

One thing you might try is to use AI as your teammate. Asking it the same thing you were asking us. For instance, you could ask it how an agent might us AI to help. What AI apps are agents using. I am a new agent and used AI to help me create a 30 day plan for getting my first client. I also told it I wanted to include documentation of my journey on YouTube. It worked great.

Inman, The Real Deal, RedNews are good sources of info. Of course you can also read NAR and your state and local association news.  You might also check your local newspaper to see if there is a local real estate reporter.  Steve Brown did it for years in DFW and was awesome.  Check out Lab Coat Agents on FB.  I like the Ken McElroy podcast for real estate, very sharp guy.  I also like the business journal which is subscription based.  They have editions for many cities, normally have real estate news and also lots of other general business news about local businesses, who's moving, hiring, firing, expanding, people you should know.

AI? I've not had much luck with that so far.  I don't like the descriptions it pops out.  Tried it for picture descriptions and it got most of them wrong.  Homeowner.ai seems to have a pretty accurate automated valuation tool.

I'm a new realtor, and a simple thing to do is take MLS info with a well-written prompt and ask AI to write a listing description for you. You can keep directing it with better prompts to fine-tune it and revise it yourself at the end to what you want.

I've experimented with various AI tools. I've often used Chat GPT for market analysis reports: examing counties in my state and comparing them in terms of population metrics, employment outlook, etc. It's good because it provides something concise I can share with my clients. I've also used Bardeen AI to automate various kinds of tasks such as quickly analyzing new deals when they hit the market. I see a lot of potential for future industry specific applications.
