Any Random People Writing Negative Reviews?

Hey Everyone,

Happy Taco Tuesday! I hope everyone is doing well :) Question for Featured Agents, I had an individual write a very broad negative review on my profile, but at no point was there any communication, transaction, or interaction between this person and I. I'm curious if annyone has had a similar experience or has seen that in the community anywhere. Thanks for your time!

I had a similar experience earlier this year, and the BP team was able to get it removed from my profile pretty quickly.

Here is how mine went:

- Posted anonymous

- Misspelled my name

- Mentioned services that I don't even offer

Reach out to them and it should be cleared up very quickly!

Wonder how much of negative reviews are competitors employees pissed off when they lose a job or client to the “reviewee”

Ain't that the truth. And Ghana?! That's insane but it means your Business is International!! Lol I'm not shocked but do sincerely wish these people had something better to do. Best of luck with  your Business!

Was the review on your BP profile or on Google, feeding to BP? I had a couple of random people I've never spoked with before (if they are in fact people - names look like gibberish or bots) leave me 3 star Google reviews without text. I have heard that the only way to get these removed to is ask everyone you know to report them, and maybe after enough reporting, Google will remove them.

Hey Jay, That's Wild! I hope that all got situated in the best way possible. I am trying to laugh about it but I've already had two people reference it with plans to switch agents. There's definitely more fish in the sea but still, something to ponder on why the random staining of images

Hey Mariah, Sorry to hear about your experience too! That's insane...Some people just need better things to do with their day lol and unfortunately it was directly through BP and their tech team is apparently looking into it but I still haven't heard back

Thanks for replying @Lateefah Mathews! I tried sourcing a resolution through the BP Support Team but they are telling me there is nothing they can do and to outsource to Google for support. I hear you 100% I just don't see the necessity to negatively impact someone else's business without context. I've even tried messaging him but it's a new account with practically no interaction, other than the review. I hope you enjoy the Tacos too! Lol Thanks again!

Welcome to the internet lol. I've also had a couple of bad reviews (contracting biz) from non- customers, 1 from Ghana, which would be a very long drive! I've also had prospective customers tell me if I don't provide something free or do un permitted work they'll write a bad review. We get email spam from "companies" that will write positive reviews for a fee.
