Taking it Day by Day
The most popular and certainly most important advice I've gotten from everyone in the community is taking it day by day and not trying to learn everything all at once. Real life experiences in the office and walking through properties have given so much more information than simply reading and watching YouTube Videos. It's given me confidence knowing that the more time passes the more I will grow in my career and in the relationships I build throughout this journey. What has brought the best learning experience for you through your time in real estate ?

This is a great outlook to have!
The best learning experiences for me have been:
1. Questions that I don't have the answer to. When someone asks me 'hows the market in ______?' or 'what happens if my lease says ____ and my tenant____', I have a chance to learn about something specific that I wouldn't have thought to research on my own.
2. Problems/'Fires'. Whether its conflict resolution, negotiations gone wrong, or unforseen issues (i.e. title, financing, etc.), problems arising with a client or on a deal provide a great opportunity for learning.
It might not feel that way at the time because emotions might be high and pressure might be building BUT it is crucial to keep you composure and be patient during times of crisis. Leaning on your team (i.e., broker, other agents, lender, attorney, etc.) can be a huge help as they may have already experienced what you're facing.
All the best to you & keep taking it 1 day at a time!
